Coffee Chats, Speed Speaks

This Coffee Chats, Speed Date aims to achieve GEMS and Service Excellence - Go the Extra Mile with a Smile.

This first-time and very special event, engages students to be socially apt in coffee talk and polite chats and is geared to showcase the life skills in communication social etiquette, personal quality, grooming, time management ... organised at the ITE Balestier, that was decorated to provide the graceful ambience of a coffee club atmosphere, the programme was attended by over 30 eager students, including a few from the Clementi campus, who enjoyed the fun speed dating setting.

The event also provided an apt opportunity for our hospitality students to practice and further refine their hosting skills as they served food and coffee to the speed daters. An expert talk on coffee culture and the perfect way to make coffee provided an educational voyage which the students lapped up while also catching up on Valentine's Day.
